East of Scotland LPF meeting a success
The new well-equipped, Scottish office of the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society played host to its first LPF meeting on 22nd
February. The meeting resulted in members agreeing that they were
happy with the proposed name for the LPF and voicing their opinion
on what services they felt the LPF could provide over the coming 12
months. Many key members also stepped up and volunteered to form a
Transitional Steering Group.
Subsequently this group, which has representatives from all
localities that make up the LPF, met on 22nd March in order to
appoint specific roles and to discuss in more detail members'
suggestions for activities that could be undertaken. The
Transitional Steering Group is due to meet again shortly and shall
then feedback to all members.
