Local Practice Forum (LPF) is a term that was first used in the prospectus for the localisation of the new professional body.  In essence the forums will be the local structure that will exist in the professional leadership body (PLB) to bring together pharmacists from across all sectors and be where many of the services offered by the PLB will be delivered.

The names for each of the five LPFs in Scotland were signed off in principle by the Scottish Pharmacy Board at their first meeting of the year.  However the overarching principle of LPFs is "for members, by members", so are still subject to member approval.  Please see the table below for details.
