This branch is currently inactive.
It has been acknowledged that the traditional structure of
regular Branch meetings was no longer working in some geographical
areas and in the widespread consultation for the Transcom
Prospectus there was felt to be a need for local networking and so
the concept of Local Practice Forums began to take shape and is now
being piloted in several areas. Pharmacy stakeholders from
education, Health Boards, Branches and all sectors of the
profession can come together to decide what is needed in their area
and from their own LPFs.
On Dec 7th, 2009, RPSGB members interested in helping shape their Local Practice Forums met to formulate proposals for the nature and format of their Forum. A transcript of this meeting is now available for download.
The Scottish Pharmacy Board recently held a roadshow - Scottish Pharmacy First - Your New Professional Leadership Body - in your area. If you could not attend or would just like a recap of what happened you can see the presentation here.
If you think an LPF might work in Fife and would like more information contact the Scottish Office of RPSGB on 01315564386. For further information on LPFs click here.
