The Parish Hall in Glasgow hosted a successful LPF Meeting on 25th March, with a wide range of members turning out to show their support. A lively discussion on what members wanted their LPF to achieve ensued and many volunteered to sit on a Transitional Steering Group.
The new well-equipped, Scottish office of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society played host to its first LPF meeting on 22nd February. The meeting resulted in members agreeing that they were happy with the proposed name for the LPF and voicing their opinion on what services they felt the LPF could provide over the coming 12 months. Many key members also stepped up and volunteered to form a Transitional Steering Group.
Overcoming the problems of long distances, lack of evening ferries and of course "the weather," individuals from NHS Highland and NHS Western Isles are now using web-technologies to video conference into Pharmacy evening meetings in Inverness.
